Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Golden State Warriors guard/forward Brandon Rush will miss the remainder of the 2012-13 season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Friday.

Rush sustained the injury in the first quarter of the Warriors' 104-94 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies after he drove hard to the basket, went up for a layup and came down awkwardly on the knee.

In two games played with the Warriors this season, Rush has averaged seven points per game. He averaged a career-best 9.8 points and shot 45.2 percent from three-point range over 65 games for Golden State last season.

A surgery date has yet to be determined, but Rush is anticipated to make a full recovery.
