Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cincinnati Bengals placed cornerback Leon Hall on injured reserve Tuesday.

Hall tore the Achilles in right foot in Week 7. He also suffered a torn left Achilles in 2011.

Hall, an All-Pro in 2009, has 23 interceptions in his seven-year career, including one this season.

The Bengals also signed linebacker J.K. Schaffer from the practice squad and waived defensive end defensive DeQuin Evans.

Evans had been cleared to rejoin team activities on a roster exemption yesterday, following his completion of an NFL suspension for Games 1-8 due to violation of league policy on performance-enhancing substances.
