Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos saw the return of their starting running back to the practice field on Tuesday.

According to the Denver Post, Willis McGahee was back at practice for the first time since suffering a torn MCL and compression fracture to his right tibia on Nov. 18.

While McGahee won't be eligible to play Saturday when the Broncos take on the Baltimore Ravens in the postseason's divisional round, he could return to the playing field for the AFC Championship game on Jan. 20, should Denver advance.

The Broncos gave McGahee their injured reserve with designation to return tag following his injury against the San Diego Chargers, with hope that he could make a return for a late postseason run.

Before being forced to sit for the Broncos' final six regular-season games, McGahee rushed for 731 yards and four touchdowns on 167 carries.

Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady also returned to the practice field on Tuesday. He was limited last week with an undisclosed injury.
