Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs announced a slew of deals on Wednesday, agreeing to contracts with wide receiver Donnie Avery, quarterback Chase Daniel and tight end Anthony Fasano.

Avery is coming off a productive season with the Indianapolis Colts, where he registered a career-high 60 receptions for 781 yards and three touchdowns.

Originally drafted by the St. Louis Rams with the 33rd pick in 2008 NFL Draft, the fourth-year product out of Houston had a one-year stint in Tennessee prior to spending the 2012 season in Indianapolis.

Over the course of his career, he has amassed 163 receptions for 2,089 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Fasano, a seven-year veteran, has made 87 career starts in 108 appearances since being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2006. The Notre Dame product spent the past five years in Miami and has produced career totals of 205 receptions, 2,373 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Daniel has seen action in just five games over four NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints, serving as the backup to Drew Brees and is expected to fulfill a similar role in Kansas City, which recently acquired Alex Smith from the 49ers.
