Davie, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Dolphins have re-signed wide receiver Brian Hartline and quarterback Matt Moore.

Terms were not disclosed by the team Friday, but various reports this week indicated Hartline agreed to a five-year deal worth nearly $31 million and Moore a two-year pact worth $8 million to continue as backup to Ryan Tannehill.

"I am excited that we have been able to reach an agreement with both Brian and Matt to keep them as members of the Miami Dolphins," said Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland on Friday. "Brian is an ascending player that has steadily improved over his first four years with the organization. Matt has been a valuable contributor to the Dolphins ever since he arrived two seasons ago. We are happy we were able to resign him, and we think he combines with Ryan Tannehill and Pat Devlin to give us an outstanding group of quarterbacks."

Hartline had 74 catches for 1,083 yards and a touchdown last season. He set Miami's single-game receiving yards record a year ago with 253 against the Arizona Cardinals.

The four-year veteran from Ohio State has posted career totals of 183 catches, 2,743 yards and six scores, all with Miami.

Moore was thought to be the front-runner for the starting role at the outset of the 2012 season, but lost a training camp battle to Tannehill. He appeared in two games last year, throwing for 131 yards with a touchdown on 11-of-19 passing.

The six-year veteran finished the 2011 season as Miami's starter after Chad Henne was injured and helped the Dolphins to a 6-6 mark in his 12 starts. He spent his first four NFL seasons with Carolina.
