RB Thomas ruled out for Saints vs. Eagles

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas will miss Saturday's playoff game against Philadelphia because of a chest injury.

Thomas missed practice all week and was ruled out on Friday. He played in all 16 regular season games, rushing for 549 yards and two touchdowns, but was hurt in last week's finale against Tampa Bay.

Saints linebacker Keyunta Dawson (calf) missed practice Friday and is listed as questionable. Safety Rafael Bush (ankle) practiced and is probable.

Eagles backup center Julian Vandervelde was ruled out with a back injury and safety Earl Wolff is questionable with a knee injury. Wide receiver Jason Avant (shoulder), cornerback Brandon Boykin (hip), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (knee) and safety Colt Anderson (knee) are all probable to play for the NFC East champions.
