East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was back at practice on Friday, though his status for this weekend's game against the Baltimore Ravens still remains somewhat uncertain.
Bradshaw was inactive for last Sunday's 34-0 loss at Atlanta due to a sprained knee he suffered in a win over New Orleans the previous week. The Giants' leading rusher was also held out of both Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but returned in a limited capacity for Friday's session and has been listed as questionable on the final injury report.
Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was optimistic about Bradshaw's chances to play for Sunday's matchup, one which may be critical to the defending Super Bowl champions' chances for returning to the playoffs.
"I think he has [been medically cleared], provided the progress is continuous," said Coughlin on Friday. "We have tomorrow and we have Sunday afternoon. They [the medical staff] are very hopeful as well."
Rookie David Wilson served as New York's primary running back against the Falcons and managed 55 yards on 12 carries
The Giants do expect to have cornerback Prince Amukamara, who missed the Atlanta game with a hamstring injury, available to face the Ravens. The 2011 first-round pick practiced fully on Friday and was declared probable, along with wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee) and defensive tackle Chris Canty (neck).
Defensive end Justin Tuck (shoulder), safety Kenny Phillips (knee), guard Chris Snee (hip) and center David Baas (hip/shoulder) were also marked as questionable for Sunday's tilt.
Tuck did not practice at all the entire week with his injury, while Phillips has been sidelined for eight of New York's last 10 outings.
New York is currently tied with Washington and Dallas for first place in the NFC East with two games remaining in the regular season, and is also in a tight battle for one of the conference's two available Wild Card berths.
