East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Lawrence Tynes drilled four field goals and the Giants held the Jets without a touchdown Saturday in a 26-3 preseason win.

Eli Manning played the entire first half, but only connected on half of his 14 passes for 62 yards and an interception, while Victor Cruz caught five passes for 51 yards.

The Giants avoided an early scare as starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw was taken to the locker room for X-rays on his hand after just three carries. The X-rays came back negative, but Bradshaw remained on the sidelines for the rest of the contest.

Backup D.J. Ware carried the ball 11 times for 15 yards in place of Bradshaw.

Mark Sanchez finished 9-of-11 for 59 yards and an interception that was returned for a touchdown and Shonn Greene rushed for 36 yards on 11 carries.

Tim Tebow got his first game action in front of the New York in the second half and went 5-of-14 for 69 yards.

Tynes nailed a 35-yard field goal midway through the first quarter and added a 30-yarder early in the second to give the Giants a 6-0 lead.

Sanchez was picked off late in the second quarter by Jayron Hosley, who went 77 yards the other way to extend the Giants' lead to 13-0.

Tynes' third field goal of the game, a 40-yarder, pressed the Giants advantage to 16-0 early in the third.

Tebow completed his first three passes and went 4-of-5 for 52 yards overall on his first series. The drive stalled late and the Jets settled for a 30-yard field goal from Josh Brown for their only points of the game.

Tynes added a 45-yard field goal early in the fourth to make it 19-3 before third-stringer Ryan Perrilloux found Joe Martinek for a 14-yard touchdown to account for the final margin.

The Jets don't have a touchdown in two preseason games.
