Alameda, CA ( - Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor will start Sunday against the San Diego Chargers after missing a game with a concussion.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday that Pryor is "symptom-free."

Pryor suffered a concussion in Oakland's Week 3 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sept. 23 but was cleared to practice last Thursday and appeared ready to play against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Things changed when Pryor reportedly experienced a return of his concussion symptoms on Saturday.

Matt Flynn started in place of Pryor and had two costly turnovers that led to touchdowns for the Redskins. The Raiders (1-3) lost the game 24-14 and Flynn fell to No. 3 on the depth chart this week behind undrafted rookie Matt McGloin, who will back up Pryor against the Chargers.

Sunday's game was moved back seven hours to 11:35 p.m. ET because the Oakland Athletics have a playoff game at 9:07 p.m. ET Saturday night.

The Raiders and A's share the Coliseum and there won't be enough time to convert the stadium from baseball to football configuration before the game's originally scheduled time of 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday.

Pryor has passed for 624 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in three games this season. The 2011 supplemental draft pick has completed 65.4 percent of his passes and has rushed for 198 yards on 26 attempts.

He beat out Flynn for the No. 1 quarterback position during the preseason.
