Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles placed tight end Clay Harbor on injured reserve Tuesday due to a lower back contusion.

Harbor sustained the injury during Thursday's 34-13 loss to Cincinnati, during which he recorded three catches for 30 yards.

A fourth-round pick of the Eagles in the 2010 draft, Harbor had started nine games for the club this season and posted career highs of 25 catches, 188 receiving yards and two touchdowns while playing in all 14 games.

Harbor started last week's contest in place of No. 1 tight end Brent Celek, who was inactive due to a concussion but is expected to be cleared for this Sunday's matchup against Washington.
