Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy returned to practice this week from their respective concussions, but neither will be ready to play when the Eagles meet the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.

Vick has missed the last four games since sustaining a concussion on Nov. 11 against Dallas, while McCoy hasn't played since Nov. 18 after taking a hard hit to the head in the fourth quarter of a 31-6 loss to Washington.

Both players passed concussion tests earlier in the week and were cleared to participate in non-contact drills Tuesday. However, neither Vick nor McCoy has been cleared by the combination of an independent neurologist and a team doctor, leaving the pair unable to play Thursday.

The Eagles will also be without tight end Brent Celek (concussion), safety Kurt Coleman (chest) and defensive tackle Mike Patterson (illness) when they host the Bengals.

Patterson, who recently contracted pneumonia and sat out Sunday's 23-21 win at Tampa Bay as a result, was officially placed on the reserve/non-football illness list on Wednesday.

Backup running back Chris Polk (toe) was listed as questionable on the final injury report, while cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (neck, quadricep), wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin) and linebacker Mychal Kendricks (shoulder) were all listed as probable for Thursday's tilt.
