(Sports Network) - Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman won his appeal and won't be suspended for violating the league's performance enhancing drug policy.

Sherman went to New York to appeal the suspension last week and tweeted Thursday that he was victorious.

"Thank you @nfl for upholding the truth! To the 12s Thank you your faith is rewarded! Thank you lord," Sherman said.

NFL.com had reported in late November that Sherman and fellow Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner had both tested positive for the prohibited stimulant Adderall.

Browner decided to drop his appeal and started to serve his four-game ban in Week 14. Browner's suspension concludes after Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Thus, Seattle will have both its starting cornerbacks available when the playoffs start.

Sherman, who argued that a leaking cup led to a contamination of his urine sample, has 61 tackles, one sack and seven interceptions in 15 games this season.

The Seahawks clinched a playoff berth with a 42-13 rout of the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.
