Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed veteran kicker Rian Lindell on Wednesday.

Lindell was cut by the Bills on Monday after spending the past 10 seasons with the team. He is the second-leading scorer in franchise history, with his 980 points trailing only Steve Christie's 1,011.

The 36-year-old Lindell connected on 83.3 percent of his field goal attempts with the Bills and all but one of 306 extra-point tries. He made 21-of-24 field goal tries last year after missing the final seven games of the 2011 season because of a shoulder injury.

Before joining Buffalo, Lindell spent three seasons with Seattle, playing in 44 games.

Entering his 14th season, Lindell has played in 196 games, connecting on 283- of-348 field goals.

The Bucs lost kicker Connor Barth for the 2013 season when he ruptured his Achilles in July. They signed Lawrence Tynes to fill the void left by Barth. But Tynes has been unable to practice due to a toe injury. That has left Derek Dimke as the only healthy kicker in camp.

Tampa Bay also waived linebacker Joe Holland.
