Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran quarterback John Skelton and placed cornerback Tommie Campbell on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Skelton was drafted by Arizona in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and spent three seasons with the Cardinals, compiling 15 touchdown passes and 3,707 yards with 25 interceptions over 20 games, including 17 starts.
The 25-year-old appeared in seven games with six starts with the Cardinals in 2012, throwing for 1,132 yards and two touchdowns with nine interceptions. He was released by Arizona in April and claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Skelton waived by the Bengals following training camp and spent a week with the San Francisco 49ers in October.
Campbell played in eight games for the Titans this season, primarily on special teams.
