Recap: NY Giants vs. Chicago

East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Jason Campbell hit Joe Anderson for the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter as the Chicago Bears took a 20-17 win over the New York Giants in preseason action.

Jay Cutler went 9-for-21 with 96 yards and a score while Campbell was 12- for-19 with 101 yards for the Bears, who improved to 2-1 in the preseason. Brandon Marshall had five catches for 51 yards and a touchdown.

Eli Manning passed for 148 yards and a score on 17-of-21 attempts and Ramses Barden caught three passes for 46 yards and a score for the Giants, who dropped to 1-2 in the preseason.

Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara left the game on a cart in the first quarter after suffering a high ankle sprain. He was taken to a local hospital and x-rays came back negative.

The Bears' first possession of the third bore fruit as they went 59 yards in seven plays and made it a seven-point game on Robbie Gould's 30-yard field goal just under four minutes in.

Following a three-and-out by New York, Chicago got another field goal as Gould's 48-yard boot was true and it was a 17-13 game with just over six minutes to play in the third.

Campbell began the winning drive at the Chicago 42 and completed a pair of third down passes to move the chains. On 3rd-and-8 at the Giants 12, Campbell connected with Anderson for a score and a 20-17 lead with nearly 8 1/2 minutes to play.

Each team then exchanged a pair of punts and the Giants were able to get into the Chicago red zone on its final drive, but David Carr's pass was picked off by Isaiah Frey in the end zone and the Bears killed the rest of the clock.

The Giants got on the board first when Lawrence Tynes capped an eight-play, 72-yard drive with a 32-yard field goal.

However, the Bears answered on their next touch as Marshall caught a 21-yard score from Cutler for a 7-3 lead heading into the second quarter.

New York took the lead back in the second as Barden caught an 11-yard score from Manning for a 10-7 edge with 5 1/2 minutes to play in the half.

Chicago was held without a first down and had to punt, but Da'Rel Scott blocked it and New York recovered at the Chicago 10-yard line. Two plays later, Andre Brown punched it in from a yard out to give the Giants a 17-7 lead heading to the break.
