Recap: Jacksonville vs. NY Giants

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Blaine Gabbert threw for 62 yards and a touchdown on Friday, as the Jaguars downed the Giants, 32-31, in preseason action.

Gabbert completed 5-of-10 passes, while Chad Henne threw for 28 yards and a score. Jordan Palmer passed for 110 yards and connected with Matt Veldman for a go-ahead two-point conversion in the closing minutes.

Mike Thomas caught four passes for 89 yards and Brian Robiskie had 72 receiving yards and a touchdown for the Jaguars, who went 5-11 a season ago.

Eli Manning completed 4-of-8 passes for 60 yards in a brief showing for the defending Super Bowl champion Giants. David Carr threw for two touchdowns and 48 yards.

Ahmad Bradshaw had four carries for 12 yards while David Wilson led the rushing attack with 43 yards.

Martellus Bennett finished with three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown.

The Giants led 31-24 in the fourth quarter, but Josh Scobee nailed a 29-yard field goal. Then, with 2:06 remaining, Keith Toston capped a 64-yard drive with a nine-yard touchdown run.

Palmer then found Veldman in the end zone for the go-ahead two-point conversion.
