Recap: Seattle vs. Tennessee

Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Marshawn Lynch rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Seattle Seahawks to a 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Lynch carried 21 times for 77 yards to help the Seahawks (5-1) remain unbeaten at home in 11 tilts in Russell Wilson's tenure as starting quarterback. Wilson did not find the end zone but carved up Tennessee's defense for 257 yards on 23-of-31 passing and 61 yards on the ground. Lynch also caught four passes for 78 yards.

Ryan Fitzpatrick started his second straight game for the Titans (3-3) after taking over for the injured Jake Locker and completed 17-of-29 for 171 and a pair of interceptions.

"We have to make plays to win," Titans head coach Mike Munchak said. "We're just not making plays. We're mediocre right now."

Chris Johnson and Fitzpatrick both gained 33 yards on the ground as Tennessee drops its second straight game.

Rod Bironas was pure on a 38-yard field goal attempt.

With the score knotted at 10-10 early in the fourth quarter, Seattle marched down to the red zone but settled for a Steven Hauschka 29-yard field goal. Lynch fumbled on 1st-and-goal from the Tennessee 2, but Wilson was there to pounce on the ball after the Titans' Zach Brown missed his chance.

Richard Sherman picked off Fitzpatrick on the first play of Tennessee's next series, and Seattle made them pay with a touchdown minutes later. A terrific throw across his body by Wilson to Sidney Rice, who made a shoestring catch along the left sideline, set up Lynch's 3-yard touchdown plunge.

"It was a good win," Rice said. "We worked hard, we believed and kept trying in the end we won."

The Titans' next drive stalled just prior to the two-minute warning, but Rob Bironas drilled a field goal to pull Tennessee within a score at 20-13.

Tennessee opted to kick deep with all three timeouts, but an offsides penalty and Lynch first down run helped the Seahawks hold on for the victory.

Late in the second quarter, Hauschka was trucked on a kick-off by return man Darius Reynaud and left the game until the second half while being evaluated for a concussion. The injury came back to haunt the Seahawks on the final play of the opening half.

Seattle lined up for a short field goal, but Chris Maragos, holding in place of punter Jon Ryan, who took over kicking duties, failed to handle the snap. Maragos picked up the loose ball but fumbled as the clock hit zero. Jason McCourty recovered and went 77 yards untouched for a momentum-shifting touchdown.

The play was reviewed to see if Maragos' knee was down prior to losing the football, but the touchdown was upheld and Tennessee took a 10-7 lead into the locker room.

Hauschka returned in the third and snuck a 31-yard field goal inside the right post to knot the score midway through the period.

Bironas opened the scoring with a 38-yard kick at the 5:16 mark of the first quarter, and Seattle's offense had trouble manufacturing a score until late in the second quarter, when Lynch scored from a yard out to cap a 12-play, 74- yard march.
