Recap: San Diego vs. Arizona

San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Nick Novak nailed a 55-yard field goal among his four successful kicks as the San Diego Chargers beat the Arizona Cardinals, 12-9, in the preseason finale for both teams.

These two will also meet in Week 1 of the regular season on Sept. 8, but that game will be in Glendale.

Kellen Clemens was 14-of-25 for 158 yards and an interception, Marion Grice ran for 79 yards on 17 carries and Branden Oliver totaled 71 yards on 16 totes for the Chargers, who outgained the Cardinals 347-98.

Logan Thomas completed 9-of-21 passes for 73 yards and an interception for Arizona.
