Recap: Dallas vs. Baltimore

Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Joe Flacco was 9-of-17 for 113 yards and a touchdown as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 37-30, in the second preseason game for both teams on Saturday night.

Flacco, who began the game just 1-of-7 and played the entire first half, didn't see his first snap until the 3:25 mark of the opening frame as Baltimore put up two non-offensive touchdowns. Courtney Upshaw returned a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown and Deonte Thompson took a kickoff 108 yards for a score.

Torrey Smith hauled in a 19-yard TD reception from Flacco, Bernard Pierce carried the ball seven times for 55 yards and Ray Rice had just two totes for 21 yards in the triumph.

Tony Romo played two series in his preseason debut. He was 4-of-5 for 80 yards and tossed a 31-yard TD pass to Dez Bryant, who caught three passes for 59 yards. Romo didn't play in the first exhibition game so he could rest his surgically repaired back.

DeMarco Murray ran for 34 yards on eight carries in defeat.

Baltimore's two non-offensive scores were sandwiched around Bryant's TD reception as the Ravens took a 14-7 lead into the second.

Dan Bailey hit a 53-yard field goal early in the second, but the Ravens scored the final 13 points of the half. Tucker nailed field goals of 40 and 38 yards, respectively, around Smith's TD catch to give them a 27-10 cushion heading into the break.

Lorenzo Taliaferro ran for a 3-yard score and James Hanna caught a 24-yard TD pass from Caleb Hanie to account for the scoring in the third, giving the Ravens a 34-17 lead going into the fourth.

Dallas scored the first 13 points of the final frame. Ryan Williams had a 3- yard TD run and Jamar Newsome hauled in a 5-yard TD pass, but the ensuing two- point conversion was unsuccessful, cutting the deficit to 34-30.

Tucker booted through a 49-yard field goal in the final minute to cap the scoring.
