Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers parted ways with four players on Monday, including former first-round pick Gabe Carimi and veteran defensive tackle Derek Landri.

Carimi, taken by Chicago with the 29th overall selection of the 2011 draft, appeared in 14 games as predominately a reserve offensive lineman in his only season in Tampa. The former Wisconsin All-American was acquired by the Bucs from the Bears last June in exchange for a 2014 sixth-round pick.

Landri managed just nine tackles and one sack over nine games last season. The 30-year-old had signed a two-year contract with the Buccaneers in March of 2013.

Tampa Bay also waived running back Michael Hill and quarterback Jordan Rodgers while signing quarterback Mike Kafka.

Kafka, a fourth-round pick of Philadelphia in 2010, appeared in four games with the Eagles the following season but was released by the club prior to the start of the 2012 campaign. The Northwestern product spent last year's training camp with Jacksonville, but did not survive final cuts.

Hill rushed for 23 yards on nine carries over six games after being signed off Green Bay's practice squad in November. Rodgers, the younger brother of Packers star Aaron Rodgers, spent the majority of last season on the Buccaneers' practice squad.
