Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Jacksonville quarterback Chad Henne will start for the Jaguars in Week 12, coach Mike Mularkey announced on Monday.

Henne replaced starter Blaine Gabbert in Sunday's overtime-loss to the Houston Texans. Gabbert left in the first quarter with an elbow injury and did not return.

Henne completed 16-of-36 passes for 354 yards and four touchdowns in the loss.

"Chad Henne executed the game plan really well on Sunday," Mularkey said.

Over five seasons in the NFL, Henne has appeared in 40 games -- 31 starts -- throwing for 7,683 yards, 36 touchdowns and 38 interceptions.
