Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks inked Corey Perry to an eight-year extension on Monday, keeping the high-scoring winger with the club through the 2020-21 season.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Los Angels Times is reporting the deal could be worth $69 million for the duration.

"Staying in Anaheim has always been my first choice," said Perry. "This is a great place to play, and I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to remain here."

Perry, who was on the final year of his contract, has scored 27 or more goals each of the previous five seasons and has nine goals with 15 assists in 25 games this year.

The Ducks selected Perry with the 28th overall pick in the 2003 draft, and he helped them win the Stanley Cup in 2007, racking up six goals and 15 points in 21 postseason contests.

He won the Hart Trophy in the 2010-11 season after leading the league with 50 goals and has compiled 214 goals and 239 assists over his eight-year career -- all with Anaheim.

The Ducks had already extended the contract of captain Ryan Getzlaf earlier this month.
