Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Calgary Flames picked up a No. 1 goaltender Tuesday, signing former Anaheim netminder Jonas Hiller to a two- year deal.

The Flames inked the unrestricted free agent goalie to a contract reportedly worth a total of $9 million in a move the club hopes improves its situation in net. Calgary used four goaltenders last season, with Karri Ramo leading the way with 40 starts.

Also on Tuesday, Calgary signed forward Mason Raymond to a three-year, $9.5 million deal and inked defenseman Deryk Engelland for three seasons and a total of $8.7 million.

Hiller, 32, signed with Anaheim as an undrafted free agent in 2007 and compiled a record of 162-110-32 over seven seasons with the Ducks. The Swiss backstop has a 2.51 goals-against average and .916 save percentage in 326 career NHL contests.

The 28-year-old Raymond is coming off a 19-goal season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also added 26 assists in 82 games for the Leafs in 2013-14 and has recorded 223 points (99G, 124A) over 456 career games for Toronto and Vancouver.

Engelland has played all 243 of his NHL games with Pittsburgh and had six goals and six assists in 56 games for the Penguins last season.
