New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Reigning Lady Byng Trophy winner Martin St. Louis is among the finalists for the award this year.

The New York Rangers forward is joined by Colorado Avalanche forward Ryan O'Reilly and San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau as the nominees for the award given to the player who best exhibits sportsmanship, gentlemanly play and excellence on the ice.

St. Louis registered 30 goals and 69 points in 81 combined games with Tampa Bay and New York this season. His 10 penalty minutes were the fewest among the league's top 20 scorers.

The 38-year-old St. Louis also won the award in consecutive years in 2010 and 2011 and is a finalist for the eighth time in the past 10 years.

O'Reilly, 23, set career highs in goals (28) and points (64) and led the NHL with 83 takeaways in 80 games. He was whistled for only one minor penalty -- he played the puck with a broken stick -- and became only the second player ever to receive two or fewer penalty minutes over at least 80 games, joining Butch Goring (1977-78).

Marleau, 34, totaled 33 goals, 37 assists and 18 penalty minutes in 82 games. He finished third for the award in 2006.

The winner will be announced during the 2014 NHL Awards program on June 24 in Las Vegas.
