Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall is expected to miss at least four weeks of action due to a left knee injury.

Hall left Saturday's game against the Senators in the second period with the injury.

The 21-year-old former top overall pick is tied for the team lead in points with eight, having tallied three goals and five assists in nine games.

Oilers general manager Craig MacTavish also announced on Tuesday that forward Ryan Smyth is out at least a week with a groin injury. Smyth has three goals and one assist in eight games this year.
