Los Angeles, CA ( - Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick had surgery on his wrist Tuesday.

The surgery will keep him sidelined for 10-to-12 weeks, meaning he could be out for the start of training camp and miss a significant amount of time in the preseason. The team said that the injury occurred during the Western Conference semifinals against the Anaheim Ducks.

Quick, 28, recently won his second Stanley Cup trophy, as the team polished off the New York Rangers in five games in the finals. He went 16-10 with two shutouts and a 2.58 goals against average in the postseason.

Over seven seasons in the NHL, he is 176-117-33 with 31 shutouts and a 2.28 GAA in 335 games, all with the Kings.
