Wild keep Blum, add Schroeder

St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Wild agreed to a one-year contract with defenseman Jonathon Blum and a two-year deal with forward Jordan Schroeder.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Blum notched an assist in 15 games with the Wild last season and posted seven goals with 22 assists for 29 points in 54 games with Iowa of the American Hockey League.

The 25-year-old California native was selected by Nashville with the 23rd overall choice of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He appeared in 91 games over parts of three seasons with the Predators, and for his career has seven goals with 16 assists for 23 points in 106 NHL games with Minnesota and Nashville.

Schroeder tallied three goals and three assists in 25 games with Vancouver last season. The 23-year-old Minnesota native had six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 56 games over the past two seasons with the Canucks, who selected him with the 22nd overall pick of the 2009 draft.
