Recap: Anaheim vs. Calgary

Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Rookie Viktor Fasth recorded 29 saves to notch his second career shutout, as the Anaheim Ducks continued their home dominance of the Calgary Flames with a 4-0 victory on Friday at Honda Center.

Ryan Getzlaf, fresh off signing a new eight-year extension, and Bobby Ryan each registered a goal and an assist. Daniel Winnik and Sheldon Souray scored a goal apiece for the Ducks, who have won 16 straight home games against the Flames.

Anaheim has won 10 straight at Honda Center overall and hasn't lost at home since its home-opener on Jan. 25.

Miikka Kiprusoff allowed all four goals on 24 shots for the Flames, who had won two straight.

The Ducks opened the scoring just 75 seconds in when Andrew Cogliano slid a quick pass from below the goal line toward the slot for a cutting Winnik, who one-timed the puck past Kiprusoff.

"Unfortunately they got one right of the gate, but we were able to play well for half the game there," Calgary forward Jarome Iginla said. "Once they got their second goal there it totally changed the momentum. They took control of the game."

Anaheim added to its lead late in the second with a pair of goals just 1:14 apart.

The first came at the 13:38 mark of the second when Getzlaf won a battle on the right boards and slid the puck behind the net for Corey Perry. Perry then threw the puck in front to set up Ryan's one-timer from the slot for a 2-0 lead.

Just over a minute later, Souray blasted a hard shot from the left point that found the top left corner of the net.

"Once we scored the second goal, we started to get our legs and started to do the right things," Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau said. "I think they were frustrated. A win is a win."

Getzlaf capped the scoring late in the third when he received a nice one-touch feed from Ryan in close and basically skated the puck into the net at 16:18.
