Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Boston

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Brandon Sutter's second goal of the game capped a furious third-period rally that led Pittsburgh to a 3-2 win over Boston on Tuesday.

Trailing by two goals, the Penguins scored three times in just over four minutes in the final frame to move their winning streak to a season-high six in a row.

Chris Kunitz got the first goal while Sutter scored the tying and go-ahead markers, with Marc-Andre Fleury posting 14 stops in the win.

Zdeno Chara and Tyler Seguin scored in the first period for the Bruins, who had a three-game winning streak snapped. Anton Khudobin made 31 stops in the disappointing loss.

"We came out really well in the first period and played the way we should have," said Boston head coach Claude Julien. "Then we just kind of gave up in the next two periods and let them take over."

Pittsburgh had thrown 22 shots on Khudobin through the first two periods, and were again peppering him in the third when Kunitz finally got through at the 13:42 mark.

Holding the puck at the left point, Kris Letang fired it across to the right circle, where Kunitz one-timed it home for his 18th of the season.

The Pens then tied the game less than a minute later on a rush play. Beau Bennett brought the puck in through the middle, then dished it over to his left for James Neal, who sent it to the left circle where Sutter snapped it into the far side.

Sutter capped the comeback on his own when he picked off a cross-ice pass at the left point and skated down to the circle before firing the puck home for a 3-2 lead with 2:03 to play.

"As soon as I got the puck I was thinking of passing, but I saw I had the lane and I was able to take advantage," said Sutter. "It was a great way to finish this game."

Boston got Khudobin out of the net for an extra attacker with under a minute to go, but was unable to get any serious chances off before the buzzer sounded.

Boston got on the board just 4:45 in on the power play, as Chara's one-timer from the right point sailed through a screen and past Fleury for his fifth goal of the year.

It was a 2-0 game with 6:30 to play in the opening period after Boston's Patrice Bergeron fired the puck from the left side of the net to the slot, where Seguin wristed it into the right corner.
