Recap: Columbus vs. Anaheim

Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Mark Letestu scored the game-winning goal with 1:00 left in overtime to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

Derick Brassard also tallied and Sergei Bobrovsky turned away 29 shots for the Blue Jackets, who move into eighth place in the Western Conference with 37 points.

"The one thing we can't change now is being satisfied," said coach Todd Richards. "We can't have that. You've climbed the mountain and you get there and you can't take a breath. We're only halfway up the mountain. There's still a lot of work in front of us."

Emerson Etem scored the lone goal for the Ducks, losers in five of their last six games. Jonas Hiller had 16 saves in the setback.

"You obviously don't like the result," Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau said. "I'm just frustrated. We played well and we keep pushing and pushing and we're missing opportunities."

Brassard broke a scoreless tie after beating Hiller with a wrister with just under 10 1/2 minutes left in the middle session. Brassard corralled the puck off the backboard and quickly punched it into the back of the net.

Etem netted the equalizer 5:55 into the third with a snap shot. RJ Umberger turned the disc over in the Columbus zone. Etem took the puck as it skipped away from Umberger, and quickly sent it past Bobrovsky.

Both teams wasted several opportunities to score in the bonus period, but Letestu managed to beat Hiller with the game winner, a wrister from in front of the net.
