Recap: Ottawa vs. Toronto

Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - Colin Greening scored with 23.4 seconds remaining to lift the Ottawa Senators over the Toronto Maple Leafs, 3-2, in this season's second installment of the Battle of Ontario.

Greening also had two assists for the Senators, who snapped a three-game skid in the series and avenged a 3-0 loss to Toronto last Saturday. Mika Zibanejad and Erik Condra each had a goal and an assist.

Ben Bishop made 26 saves for Ottawa, which has won four in a row. Starting goaltender Craig Anderson is listed as day-to-day after suffering a sprained right ankle in the third period of Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the New York Rangers.

Mikhail Grabovski and Clarke MacArthur lit the lamp for the Maple Leafs, who got 32 saves from Ben Scrivens.

"I think we gave the points away," Toronto coach Randy Carlyle said.

With time winding down in regulation, Ottawa's Patrick Wiercioch fired a shot on net from the right point. Scrivens made the save but left a rebound for Greening, batted the puck out of the air and into the net for the game-winner.

"Being able to score on Ben is one of those weird situations," Greening said. "You always want him to do well, but not too well, but you've got to do what you've got to do.

"He played well over there and deserves a lot of accolades for his play of late."

The Maple Leafs drew first blood at the 3:32 mark of the first period. Following a battle for the puck behind the net, Grabovski gathered the disc at the right circle and beat Bishop with a wrist shot.

The Senators tied the game at the 10:52 mark, when Greening's shot from the left circle was deflected in by Zibanejad.

Ottawa took the lead with just 42.9 seconds left in the middle stanza. Eric Gryba's shot from the right point was stopped by Scrivens, with Condra and Toronto defenseman Korbinian Holzer battling for the rebound. The puck initially hit Condra's stick before going off the body of Holzer and into the net.

MacArthur's power-play goal at the 7:10 mark of the third period made it a 2-2 game. A scramble for the puck in front of Bishop resulted in MacArthur finding the back of the net.
