Recap: Washington vs. Nashville

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Eric Fehr tallied twice to lead Washington to a 4-1 win over Nashville in exhibition action from Verizon Center.

Nicklas Backstrom added a score and a helper for the Capitals, who received three assists from Mikhail Grabovski and a 33-save effort by Michal Neuvirth.

Gabriel Bourque tallied and Carter Hutton stopped 26 shots for the Predators, who fell behind 3-0 before the midway point of regulation and couldn't mount a comeback.
