Recap: Philadelphia vs. New Jersey

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Marek Zidlicky and Mike Sislo lit the lamp for New Jersey in a 2-1 victory over Philadelphia in preseason action on Tuesday.

Cory Schneider stopped 22 shots for the Devils, who will host the Flyers in Newark on Thursday.

Ray Emery made 17 saves in defeat for the Flyers, who were coming off a week- long hiatus and got a late power-play goal from Kimmo Timonen. Claude Giroux made his exhibition debut and registered an assist on the tally.

Jakub Voracek left the game in the second period and did not return with an upper-body injury.
