Recap: New Jersey vs. NY Islanders

Newark, NJ (Sports Network) - Josh Bailey scored twice while the Islanders were shorthanded during a four-goal first-period outburst that carried New York to a 5-3 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Anders Lee and Eric Boulton also beat New Jersey goaltender Martin Brodeur in the first period. Peter Regin added a third-period tally for the Islanders, who got 20 saves from Kevin Poulin.

Rostislav Olesz, Marek Zidlicky and Jon Merrill lit the lamp for New Jersey. Brodeur played two periods and finished with nine saves.

Peyton Manning will have to make do without his blind-side protector for the 2015 season, as the Denver Broncos announced that Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday's OTA session.
