Recap: Anaheim vs. Winnipeg

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - It was quite the night for the Anaheim Ducks.

Stephane Robidas scored 16 seconds into overtime to cap off the greatest comeback in franchise history, as the Ducks scored five straight goals to beat the Winnipeg Jets, 5-4, on Monday.

Robidas' slap shot from the high slot beat Winnipeg goaltender Ondrej Pavelec, and the Ducks (49-18-8) set a new franchise record for victories in a season.

Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist for Anaheim, which sits three points ahead of the San Jose Sharks for first place in the Pacific Division. Nick Bonino, Hampus Lindholm and Corey Perry also lit the lamp.

"We didn't have a great start. Being down 4-0 halfway through the game, it's tough to overcome," Perry said. "But we said in here, if we keep pushing and playing that style we established in the second half of the second period, no team can play with us. That's the way we've got to keep playing."

Frederik Andersen stopped 33-of-37 shots for the Ducks, who have won four of five.

Jacob Trouba, Matt Halischuk, Blake Wheeler and Eric Tangradi scored for the Jets, who fell to 1-2-1 on a five-game road trip. Pavelec turned aside 31- of-36 shots.

"You're just awfully disappointed because you liked so much of what you saw and then to have it go away from you like that," Jets coach Paul Maurice said. "It's just frustrating. It's tough to lose a game like that."

The Ducks had never come back from more than a three-goal deficit until Monday night, when they fell behind 4-0.

Anaheim's comeback started at the 17:44 mark of the second period when Bonino scored on a backhander.

Getzlaf scored the first of three third-period goals at 3:06. Patrick Maroon set up the power-play goal with a nice backhand pass.

Lindholm put home a rebound off a Daniel Winnik shot at 4:16 to make it 4-3.

With Andersen on the bench for an extra attacker, Perry scored the tying goal with 22.7 seconds remaining. Getzlaf slid the puck in front from behind the net, and Perry chipped it off the far post and in.

Anaheim outshot the Jets 24-6 in the third frame.

The Jets dominated the Ducks in the first, outshooting Anaheim 19-4 and getting goals from Trouba and Halischuk.

Trouba got the Jets on the board at 8:48 when he scored from in close. Almost five minutes later, Halischuk put in a rebound to make it 2-0.

Winnipeg scored on the power play just 33 seconds into the second stanza. Wheeler skated down the left wing before scoring from in close.

Tangradi tipped in Zach Redmond's pass at 10:54 to make it 4-0.
