Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Tommy Wingels scored with 3:53 left in regulation to lift the San Jose Sharks over the Vancouver Canucks, 3-2, in preseason play.

Joe Pavelski and John McCarthy also lit the lamp for the Sharks, who saw Alex Stalock stop 14-of-16 shots.

Brendan Gaunce and Hunter Shinkaruk scored for the Canucks. Eddie Lack stopped 25-of-27 shots over two periods and Joe Cannata turned aside 14-of-15 shots in the third stanza.
