Recap: Florida vs. Nashville

Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - Scottie Upshall and Erik Gudbranson had two goals apiece and the Florida Panthers scored five unanswered goals to beat the Nashville Predators 6-3 on Monday.

It was the first preseason game for both teams. They were to play the second half of a doubleheader Monday night.

Brad Boyes and Quinton Howden also scored for the Panthers. Dov Grumet-Morris allowed three goals on 16 shots in the first two periods and Rob Madore made five stops in the third.

Shea Weber, Filip Forsberg and Kevin Henderson scored for the Predators. Marek Mazanec gave up three goals on 21 shots in the first two periods and Scott Darling allowed three on 20 shots in the third.

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
