Recap: NY Islanders vs. Calgary

Regina, SK (Sports Network) - Sean Monahan scored a pair of goals and Karri Ramo stopped 21 shots as Calgary finished off a sweep of the New York Islanders with a 4-2 decision in Saskatchewan's capital.

The Flames, whose other squad also topped the Islanders in Calgary by a 5-3 result at the Saddledome on Tuesday, received single scores from Matt Stajan and Mikael Backlund.

Matt Moulson and John Tavares lit the lamp for New York. Evgeni Nabokov started and gave up two goals on 16 shots. Ken Reiter made 20 stops on 22 shots the rest of the way.
