Recap: Chicago vs. Pittsburgh

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Beau Bennett scored the lone shootout goal, as the Pittsburgh Penguins topped the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-3.

Sidney Crosby, Derrick Pouliot and Joe Vitale supplied the goals in regulation for the Penguins. Chris Kunitz had two assists and Tomas Vokoun made 30 saves.

Ben Smith had a goal and an assist for Chicago, which tied the game in the third period on a tally by Brandon Bollig. Patrick Sharp also scored and Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 27 shots.

JR Motorsports set for Truck Series debut at Martinsville

Custer, the 17-year-old son of Stewart-Haas Racing executive vice president Joe Custer, is scheduled to make his season debut in trucks after competing in nine races in the series last year. He became the youngest driver ever to win a NASCAR national touring series race by taking the checkered flag for truck event last September at New Hampshire. Custer is also the youngest pole winner in trucks, accomplishing the feat this past June at Gateway Motorsports Park.

The Chicago White Sox claimed right-hander Kyle Drabek, a former top pitching prospect, off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday.

Durant to have bone graft surgery, won't return this season

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant won't return this season because of a foot injury and will instead undergo a bone graft procedure that will keep him sidelined for up to six months.
