Recap: Colorado vs. Los Angeles

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Ryan O'Reilly scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner 45 seconds into overtime, to lead the Colorado Avalanche past the Los Angeles Kings, 4-3.

Andre Benoit and Steve Downie also scored for Colorado, which battled back from down 3-1 in the third period to tie the game and force the extra session. Calvin Pickard allowed a goal on five shots in relief of Sami Aittokallio to earn the win in net.

Justin Williams, Nick Shore and Dwight King all registered a goal and an assist for LA, while Slava Voynov had a pair of helpers.
