Recap: Detroit vs. Chicago

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Byron Froese scored twice as the Chicago Blackhawks took a 4-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings in a preseason game.

Garret Ross and Joakim Nordstrom each had one goal for the Blackhawks, who got 30 saves from Corey Crawford.

Tomas Tatar scored two goals and Jonathan Ericsson had the other for the Red Wings, who got three assists from Gustav Nyquist. Jimmy Howard allowed all four Chicago goals on 20 shots in the loss.
