Recap: Nashville vs. NY Islanders

Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Pekka Rinne and Carter Hutton teamed up for a shutout as the Nashville Predators posted a 2-0 preseason win over the New York Islanders at Bridgestone Arena.

Rinne turned aside all 13 shots he faced while working the first two periods, with Hutton coming up with 12 stops in the third.

Gabriel Bourque scored the deciding goal 3:07 into the contest, with Austin Watson adding an insurance tally near the midway mark of the second period.

Anders Nilsson finished with 23 saves for the Islanders in a losing effort.
