Recap: Anaheim vs. Colorado

Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Brad Malone scored the game-winner 8:27 into the third period, as the Colorado Avalanche edged the Anaheim Ducks, 2-1, on Sunday in preseason action from Honda Center.

Guillaume Desbiens also lit the lamp for the Avalanche, who saw goaltender Semyon Varlamov stop 37-of-38 shots in the victory.

Kyle Palmieri potted the lone Anaheim goal, while Jonas Hiller was charged for both goals on 25 shots in defeat.
