Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Chicago

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - James Neal potted the eventual game-winning goal during the shootout as the Pittsburgh Penguins rallied for a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks in preseason action from the Consol Energy Center.

Pittsburgh trailed 2-0 after two periods before drawing even on a pair of Kris Letang tallies in the third, the last coming with 2:16 remaining in regulation.

Neal added an assist on Letang's second goal, with Sidney Crosby also scoring in the shootout portion. Jeff Zatkoff made 30 saves for the Penguins through regulation and overtime, then stopped both Chicago skaters he faced in the deciding phase.

Bryan Bickell accounted for both Blackhawks goals, with Nikolai Khabibulin turning aside 31-of-33 chances in the loss.
