Recap: Ottawa vs. Montreal

Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - Milan Michalek, Clarke MacArthur and Cory Conacher each tallied a goal and an assist, as the Ottawa Senators downed the Montreal Canadiens, 5-2, on Wednesday in preseason action from Canadian Tire Centre.

Bobby Ryan and Mika Zibanejad each scored once, while Erik Karlsson compiled three assists for the Senators, who saw Andrew Hammond stop 24-of-26 shots in the victory.

Magnus Nygren and Raphael Diaz netted a goal apiece for the Canadiens, while Peter Budaj was tagged for all five goals on 32 shots in defeat.
