Recap: Detroit vs. Toronto

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Johan Franzen, Daniel Alfredsson and Henrik Zetterberg each had one goal and one assist as the Detroit Red Wings cruised past the Toronto Maple Leafs, 5-2, on Friday.

Luke Glendening and Joakim Andersson also tallied for the Red Wings, who got a pair of assists from Pavel Datsyuk.

Joeffrey Lupul and Nazem Kadri finished with one goal apiece for the Maple Leafs.

These teams will meet again on Saturday to close out the preseason.
