Recap: St. Louis vs. Minnesota

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Jaroslav Halak made 18 stops and St. Louis tallied four times in the third period en route to a 4-1 decision over Minnesota in preseason action.

T.J. Oshie, Patrik Berglund, David Backes and Chris Stewart lit the lamp for the Blues in a span of less than eight minutes to turn a one-goal deficit around.

St. Louis must wait until Thursday to open up their 2013-14 schedule by hosting Nashville.

Jared Spurgeon provided the sole offense, while Johan Gustafsson allowed all four scores on 11 shots in the third to take the loss. Josh Harding stopped all 15 shots he faced through two periods in the start for Minnesota.

The Wild are also resting until Thursday's season opener at home against Los Angeles.
