Corey Crawford earned the shutout, going the distance and making 19 saves for the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Jonas Gustavsson allowed both scores on 23 shots through two periods of play for the Red Wings. Jared Coreau then stopped all 11 shots faced in the third period.
