Recap: Columbus vs. Nashville

Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Nick Foligno scored twice, Sergei Bobrovsky made 45 saves and the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Nashville Predators 3-2 in a preseason game Saturday night.

Cam Atkinson's power-play goal in the third period ended up being the winner and came minutes after Bobrovsky stopped Mike Ribeiro on a penalty shot.

Eric Nystrom had a short-handed goal, James Neal scored on a power play and Pekka Rinne had 20 saves for Nashville.

The Blue Jackets open the regular season on the road Thursday in Buffalo and the Predators will host Ottawa, also on Thursday.
