Andre Burakovsky and Eric Fehr scored in regulation for Washington, with Fehr's goal late in the third period forcing overtime. Justin Peters stopped 25-of-27 shots in the win.

Mark Streit and Jason Akeson each lit the lamp for Philadelphia, which saw Steve Mason stop 18-of-20 shots in defeat.
